Tulip joined the fold a few weeks ago. She was going to be euthanized at our city shelter because she has Demodectic mange (the non-contagious kind) and there aren't a whole lot of folks out there who are willing to adopt a mangy pit bull puppy, even if it is treatable. Despite her odd looks, Tulip has proven to be a genuine sweetheart. She loves to snuggle and her personality is very mellow and easy-going. She gets along swimmingly with Dewey and they make quite a pair out on the town! We will be fostering her for the next few months, until she gets better and grows her fur back. Stay tuned for progress reports!
